Serving with a Roar

The Katy Lions Foundation is a T12 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit. What that means is we're designated by the Internal Revenue Service as an organization that raises and distributes funds for multiple organizations within the Philanthropy, Voluntarism, and Grantmaking Foundations major group area. We accomplish this fiduciary role through our close partnership and collaboration with local Lions Clubs, nonprofits, and community groups. We have eight primary focuses: helping humanity, ending hunger, battling pediatric cancer, protecting our environment, serving youth, defeating diabetes, saving vision, and relieving disaster.

Since 2023, we've been the fiscal sponsor of Students Engaged in Advancing Texas, which is a student-led movement to educate young people on how to self-advocate.
